Brunost – Norwegian Style Whey Cheese

Eleftheria’s Brunost, or brown cheese, is a Norwegian-style whey cheese with a rich flavour that tastes like salted caramel milk fudge, layered with lingering toffee notes. Crafted in India using traditional techniques, it was placed 4th Best Cheese in the World at the World Cheese Awards 2023 (Norway), where it won Super Gold, followed by Bronze in 2025 (Bern) and earlier Silver awards in 2022 (Wales) and 2021 (Spain).
