Chemical Free Mushrooms
We source our shiitake, portobellos, oysters and morels from small farmers all over India to keep the quality high and prices lower than the shops. Our mushrooms are meaty, full of umami flavour and healthy. We use no chemicals, no white-washing, no pesticide residue - straight from our farms to you! If you are ordering mushrooms, then remember that oyster mushrooms can be chopped and used in a sabzi, button mushrooms are the ones restaurants use for such dishes as Dhingri Muttar, shiitake are the black mushrooms that Chinese restaurants use, and Portobello are those giant mushrooms that seem to have escaped from Alice in Wonderland, best eaten whole as a steak.
