Inspired by the Swiss Gruyere, the cheese boasts a sweet nutty flavor which gets stronger and complex when aged longer – between 3 to 15 months.

Serving Suggestions:

  • Bread, fruit and mustard
  • Traditionally used as a melting cheese with Emmental for cheese fondue it works well for grilling in sandwiches too.
  • Use it in baking quiches, cheese puffs, frittatas, cheese soufflés, and omelettes.
